    If you’re stuck in a cycling rut, here are six steps to take your bike ride to the next level.

    1. Make a Playlist

    Music can make or break your workout and cycling is no exception. If you want to take your training up a level, a bespoke playlist could be exactly what you need. Take some time to create the perfect playlist and marvel as it not only motivates you to put in maximum effort but also distracts you from fatigue.     2. Interval Training

    Increasing you fitness and endurance levels can make you up your game with ease and one way to boost your performance is interval training.     3. Fuel your Ride

    The food you eat before your workout matters. Eating the right things before your bike ride cannot only maximize your efforts but also ensure you have the right amount of energy to fuel your workout. Before you head out on your bike, choose the foods that will benefit your body and help you train harder. Feed your body with a mixture of carbohydrates and protein three hours before your ride and get one step closer to smashing your personal best.

In an age where there is an App for everything, it is now simpler than ever to track your progress.  You can use Apps like Strava and Map My Ride to track your stats and find a more challenging route to ensure your next bike ride is the best one yet.
